Voting Members
(1) Cooperative organizations as defined under Section 15(a) of the Agricultural Marketing Act, approved June 15, 1929 as amended (49 Stat. 317, 12 U.S.C. 1141(j)(a); which is eligible to borrow from the bank for cooperatives.
(2) Any bank chartered under Title I or III of the Farm Credit Act, approved December 10, 1971, as amended [85 Stat 583, 12 USCA 2001 et seq.].
(3) Agricultural businesses and organizations, including but not limited to limited liability companies, partnerships, and corporations, which are owned and controlled by farmers or ranchers.
Non-Voting Members
(1) Affiliate Member: Businesses and other entities that are either associated with members, or support the principles of the Agricultural Council. These would include but not be limited to packing houses, dryers, hullers, farm credit banks and farming operations.
(2) Affiliate Dairy Member: Dairy processing cooperatives as defined under Section 15(a) of the Agricultural Marketing Act approved June 15, 1929, as amended (49 Stat. 317, 12 U.S.C. 1141(j) (a)); and sponsored by a Regular Member when applying for membership in the Council.
(3) Allied Member: Businesses and individuals who, through the provision of goods and services to California agriculture, benefit from the Council's activities.
(4) Associate: Producers who maintain an active membership or affiliation with a cooperative or organization that qualifies for membership in the Council.
